In OZ you will find all colours of dreads in reggae, you have purple dreads, and green dreads, and some colours I am not sure of. Dreads don’t only belong to Rasta’s anymore or even the the name Rastafari as their’s a hard rock band called, ‘Rastafarian Stage Divers’ to lesbian reggae bands and a band with a transvestite who is half dread and half women, I mean the hair styes as he turned his head side to side on stage.

“But the level of shock around what happened hasn’t diminished. His passing stopped the whole nation. He has an enormous presence culturally and I think although South African audiences had overlooked him in a way in recent times, his stature is undeniable.
