The Abyssinian Christians treated the Muslims well, helping to form Mohammed's positive view of Christians.
Utruku al-habasha ma tarakukum ( Leave the Abyssinians alone as long as they leave you alone)

According to tradition, the Prophet’s gratitude to the “righteous” Ethiopian King who saved his followers, and perhaps himself and his entire mission reached such an extent that he was ready to recognise Ethiopia, even though it remained a Christian entity.

It has been a very blessed few days in the city of the Emperor and once again I have been privilege to visit some very powerful and historical places, such as the Holy Trinity Cathedral which is where our emperor would go to worship. It is built in accordance with the mosaic tabernacle and the original David and Solomonic Temple.
